Yesterday we saw the world cup burst into life with a total of 11 goals produced by the teams that played, also history was made both good and bad.
It all started with Mexico Vs Cameroon , Mexico got a well deserved victory after playing some fine football. The goal by Peralta came in the 61st minute, but before that as usual there were controversies, with the game seeing two disallowed goals. Below are the videos of the disallowed goals.

Next was the demolition job , or one would say sweet revenge. The Netherlands thrashed Spain by 5 goals to 1. This only meant a warning statement by Van Gaal and the dutch to other teams. Not that it was enough Casillas the most capped player in the tournament saw himself and the team reach an all time low in the history books. No reigning champion has been beaten by that scoreline.
Here are the videos
Finally to sum it all, a mouth watering game between Chile and Australia which saw the socceros put up a good fight with good end to end attacking soccer , but losing 3 goals to 1. In this game history was made withJean Beausejour scoring the winner and ensuring that he became the first Chilean to score in two world cups tournaments.
